RTC Client 3.0.1 and IBM Data Studio 2.2.1.1

Hi All,

Has anyone managed to installed an RTC 3.0.1 Client with IBM Data Studio 2.2.1.1 in the same package group?

I know that the version of data studio will install in an RTC 3.0 Client package and the eclipse bundled packages seem to be the same, so I just wondered if there is a reason why it is not possible.

Hi James:

IBM Data Studio 2.2.1.1 is based on Eclipse 3.4.1 and RTC 3.0 and 3.0.1 are built on top of Eclipse 3.5.2, making these versions incompatible to install in the same profile.

Do you know if Data Studio plan to provide a version based on 3.5?
