Focal Point and RTC as friends

Hi,

I installed CLM 3.0.1 and Focal Point. I configured everything but have problem when trying to make external link from Focal Point to CLM 3.0.1, basically CCM part.
I followed these instructions:

http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/rfphelp/v6r5/topic/com.ibm.rational.fp.help.doc/topics/t_add_calm_attribute.html

At step 7, can't load CCM projects, even they exist, just said "Loading..."

Did anyone do something like this?

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

I'm trying to get the integration working also and I was wondering if you had made any further progress.

Hi Billk,

I noticed that this doesn't work when RTC lies on WAS application server, but works on Tomcat.

You can try this,

Hi Milan,
This is usually observed when the browser does not allow pop ups. Please allow browser pop up & try again. This should solve the problem.

I tried with Tomcat too, but still same error for FP 6502 and CLM 301.

I am not sure whether it is because server certificates.

Infact, I want to make this work for Websphere. I turned off pop-blocker, but still it just gives loading....
There is an error displayed for page which is ->

Problem Solved!

The trick is in using different DNS aliases for RTC and Focal Point.

So, If you are accessing to Rational Team Concert from Focal Point using same web addresses or DNS aliases, mentioned problem may occur.
We must use different addresses for both tools.
