DNG Widget Leaving Some Artifacts Locked

I wrote a DNG widget that manifests in the mini dashboard in DNG 6.0.6. It iterates through all the artifacts in a module and makes changes to certain attributes based on certain other attributes.


When the widget finishes, it has made all the calculations that it needed to, however it leaves some artifacts locked. The set of artifacts that are locked change from run to run.

Is there a way in the DNG API to purposefully unlock each artifact that the widget touches to avoid this "lingering lock" problem?
