Is it possible to send email in HTML format when using sendMail in IMailer service while using RTC extensions

I set header as "text/html" but my requirement is i want show work item details in grid format. So does RTC server side API supports custom HTML scripting which can send email as per rich HTML format? If yes then how can we make html script and pass it to "sendEmail()"
