Things we can do in RTC Eclipse Client which can't be done in Web Client and vice versa?

In a nut shell, I wanna know when to use one of those clients rather than the other. If someone can provide a table for the things we can do in Web Client which cant be done in Eclipse Client and vice versa, in the sequence of developing an application, it will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Hi Sharath,

As per my experience.

**Eclipse client is for resource usage for the development activity for developers, but you can still do some activity project admin related activities eg: project administration, work item management.Build Mangment.. but more useful for the developers.

** Web Client is more useful for the BA,Project Manager eg: reporting, dashboards, tracking.. and for Admin Application level Administration.

Working in the web client
Much of the information about working on lifecycle projects, project areas, team areas, and process templates in the web client is common to multiple CLM applications. Therefore, those topics are included in the Rational solution for Collaborative Lifecycle Management part of the documentation.
Working in the client for Eclipse IDE
This section contains task and concept topics that describe how to administer project areas in the Rational Team Concert™ client for Eclipse IDE.
