Can we make Attribute Dependency to Value Set Combo fields?

Hello,

I have two value set combo fields and would like to set up attribute dependency relationship.
Is it possible?
I am aware that we can do for enumeration based fields, but not sure about other fields.

The dependencies should be possible for all types of work items. However, it might not be possible to access all of them (and their information) in JavaScript. https://jazz.net/wiki/bin/view/Main/AttributeCustomization#API_for_Javascript does not mention list attributes and mentions limits for other attributes.
