Mandatory attributes are not working currectly
Hello,
I have applied the required fields for type and state from operational behavior on Defect WI.
We have Attributes with text fields, Enumerations etc.....We see all attribute with enabled as required is showing with star but while saving its not validating on all the attributes. Only for few attributes its saying provide values and rest with out providing its saving the work item.
I have applied this for individual user role / on open state only. And tried first on everyone/ individual role also but still the same.
Where could be the problem.
Kindly guide me to fix this.

You also need to have applied "Attributed Validation", which verifies that a work item can only be saved if all attribute values are valid. Without it, it gives the star to indicate it is required but does require that all of the attributes are valid prior to allowing the work item to be saved.
