how to load files from older baseline in RTC

Hi All,

Is there a way to get all the files from a component from an older baseline without creating a stream and repo? We just need to get the files "unofficially" from older builds that we have baselined.

Thanks

You must create a repository workspace if you want to load the content. The repository workspace is lightweight so there is no extreme overhead in creating them. If you want a straight dump of the content without RTC tracking what you've loaded, you'll need to open an RFE.

Hi Tim,

Thanks for the quick reply. But by default the repo will load the latest set of changes. How do I load a repo from an older baseline?

thanks

Hi

Try this - create a new repo workspace but don't flow it to any stream.  In Eclipse, I open the repo workspace and use the Add button in the components. At this point, you can pick the right baseline (or a snaphot) to populate the repo workspace.

If you're using Jazz build then snapshots are automatically created for every build. You can create a workspace from that snapshot. Otherwise, do as Anthony suggests to get your workspace in the correct configuration.
