RQM: Excel export not working with URL without port 9443. Is it hardcoded?

Ruben Sousa (065) | asked Aug 27 '14, 10:18 a.m.
Hi all,
we are trying to export test cases from Excel using the RQM Excel exporter tool.
Whenever the repository URL is of the form url.com:9443/qm it all works fine.

At the customer they have a public URL without the port. The port is mapped at the reverse proxy.
With an url of the form url.com/qm, the excel export freezes.
The url.com/qm works on the browser. This is a customer requirement to satisfy he way they grant access to external users.

The export using the IP address of the host works fine.

Is the port 9443 somehow hard-coded in the exporter?

Thanks

Ruban,

What version of the Excel/Word utility do you currently have installed? The version can be seen from the Export Dialog box

ScreenShot

There was an older defect (Defect 75448) that seemed to match the behavior you are seeing, but this was fixed in version 4.0.1

If you are using RQM version lower than 4.0.1 then probably you can try using the RQMExcelImporter of 4.0.1 and see if the port number issue gets resolved with that

Thanks
