Create work item copy is missing some of the fields.

Hi All,

I`m trying to create a copy of the work item using "Create work item copy" option and I don`t find all the fields.

for example : Description.

please can someone help me how this works and what are the fields that will be considered?

Is there any way that we can set the fields which we want when we create a work item copy ?

Hy Surender,

Did I got it right you wanna clone a workitem?
And when you clone it, you wanna change some fields?
If this is your question I do know a solution.
But only in Dojo/JS

I don't think you can configure that. i did not find a way. 4.0.5 does not provide the description. I am not aware this can be extended either.

This is what my copy work item shows (in V5.0). You can select the attributes you want from the ones shown. I think the list is what is considered. Description is included. Maybe you provide the UI you use and the version too?

Im using RTC 405 and trying do do this in eclipse not the web UI.

Can we configure this somewhere?
