RTCi and WebSphere Application Server Express

Laura Venturini (661138) | asked Dec 05 '08, 7:13 p.m.
Hello,
on IBM i, is it supported the installation of the jazz server (jazz.war) on WebSphere Application Server Express edition?
And, eventually, are there some limitations in the number of connections (user and/or connection pool size)?

Thanks
Laura

JAZZ DEVELOPER
WAS Express is supported. The limitation on the number of users are
controled by the RTCi server you buy (Express = 50 users, Standard = 250
users) and not the underlying application server. We haven't observed any
capacity problems with using WAS Express vs. WAS.

Please see a related thread on using RTCi with WAS Express
https://jazz.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=1980 and make sure you use the
correct JVM as suggested in that thread.
