How to create a workitem from an external source?

Is there a way to create a workitem from an external source. For instance can I have a trigger in Domino, create and/or alter a workitem in Jazz?

Aaron, my first guess would be to use the same HTTP post that the Work Item Ajax UI uses to create work items.

However... this REST API is currently considered internal and therefore subject to change without notice.

I'd suggest you create an enhancement request to provide a public API for creating work items from external sourcs. Please CC me, I'd be interested to see the response.

Does currently imply for now but will be available externally at some point in the future?
