If you are reading this Tech Tip, there is a good chance you are experiencing some kind of problem running or connecting to the Jazz Team Server. Common issues include server setup and configuration, database connectivity, user administration, and LDAP configuration. If you have not found the answers you need in the product documentation (Help > Help Contents), the following resources can be helpful:
- View the online version of the Help. The online documentation may includes updates that were not included with the released product.
- View the Server Troubleshooting FAQ. This is a WIKI topic on jazz.net that is maintained by the Jazz Team Server development team. New content is added as common questions come up.
- Check the jazz.users forum, or post a question there. Someone else may have had the same problem and can share the solution.
- Search the jazz.net work items repository. Our bug database is open to all members of the jazz.net community.
- If you think your problem is an unreported bug or possible enhancement, file a new work item. When is this appropriate? Use the following rules:
