OSLC links from Rational DOORS Next Generation cannot be created

Problem

When you create an OSLC link from the Rational DOORS Next Generation rich client to Rational Team Concert or Rational Quality Manager, the rich client enters a loop, and you cannot create the link.

This problem occurs only if the server of the product that you are linking to is hosted on WebSphere Application Server.

When this problem occurs, you can close the New Link window and continue working in the rich client.

Workaround

To create OSLC links from Rational DOORS Next Generation to Rational Team Concert or Rational Quality Manager, use the web client.
