Workaround summary

Problem

In the rich client of the Requirements Management (RM) application, if you delete a link from a module that points to Rational Quality Manager or Rational Team Concert, the link that points back to the module from either of those products is not deleted correctly. In most cases, the wrong link is deleted. Occasionally, the link is not deleted.

This issue occurs only if multiple links point from Rational Quality Manager or Rational Team Concert to the module.

Workaround

To delete links between the RM application and Rational Quality Manager or Rational Team Concert, use the web client.

Workaround summary

Problem

While you are creating an OSLC link to a requirement in a project in IBM® Rational® DOORS® 9, after you select a requirement and click Finish, a browser security alert is displayed. Then, the window becomes blank, and no link is created.

Workaround

To work around this issue, do either of these steps:

  • Before you try to create a link, in Internet Explorer, change the ‘Display mixed content’ setting from Prompt to either Enable or Disable. To find that setting, click Tools > Internet Options. On the Security tab, click Custom Level. In the Settings list, scroll to the Miscellaneous section.
  • While you are creating a link, in the Select OSLC Artifact window, click Create artifact, and then click Select artifact. Select the requirement to link to, and then click Finish.
