Deploying a new instance with CLM 4.0.6 based on CLM pattern 1.0.0.0

Provide an easy and reusable way to deploy an instance of CLM 4.0.6 using IBM Collaborative Lifecycle Management 4.0.2.0 Departmental Topology 1.0.0.0 pattern.

https://fit-ipas-2.rtp.raleigh.ibm.com is used as demonstration environment. Download the "Install new CLM version 1.0.1.zip" from attachment to your machine before starting.

1. Login Cloud platform and upload new script package

1. Navigate to Workload Console -> Catalog - > Script Packages
2. Click + icon to add a new Script Package
3. Enter the name of the script package you want to create : Install new CLM version 1.0.1 or other name you prefer
4. Click Browse... beside Script package file and select Install new CLM version 1.0.1.zip downloaded in previous step
5. Click Upload then script package uploaded successfully:

2. Clone "IBM Collaborative Lifecycle Management 4.0.2.0 Departmental Topology 1.0.0.0"

Navigate to Workload Console - > Patterns -> Virtual Systems and search "IBM Collaborative Lifecycle Management 4.0.2.0 Departmental Topology 1.0.0.0" and clone it to a new pattern(Copy of IBM Collaborative Lifecycle Management 4.0.2.0 Departmental Topology 1.0.0.0)

3. Edit the cloned "IBM Collaborative Lifecycle Management 4.0.2.0 Departmental Topology 1.0.0.0" pattern

4. Add the "Install new CLM version 1.0.1" script in front of the "Rational Install CLM 1.0.0.0" script in Standalone server 4.0.2.0 node

Search "Install new CLM version 1.0.1" and drag the "Install new CLM version 1.0.1" in Standalone server 4.0.2.0 node.

5. Configure the parameters for script Install new CLM version 1.0.1

1. NFS_MOUNT_POINT : /mnt
2. IMUPDATE_CATEGORY : /im , which folder contains the IM repository.config
3. IM_HOME : /opt/IBM/InstallationManager
4. IM_INSTALL_USER : virtuser
5. NFS_SHARE : This NFS should have been set up to store IM1.7.0 and CLM4.0.6 installation files.

6. Update Parameters for script Rational Install CLM 1.0.0.0

1. IM_HOME: /opt/IBM/InstallationManager
2. IM_SHARED_HOME: /opt/IBM/InstallationManager_AppServer_Shared
3. IM_REPO_LOCATION : /mnt/clm
4. CLM_HOME : /opt/IBM/JazzTeamServer

7. Click Done editing

8. Click Deploy to deploy an instance based on the clone pattern
