Authors: TimFeeney
Build basis: The Rational solution for Collaborative Lifecycle Management (CLM) and the Rational solution for systems and software engineering (SSE) v6.0.1.

Each of the CLM applications include extensive value added capabilities that when used properly help customers improve their development processes and meet their business goals. As with many applications, there are multiple methods for accomplishing the same outcome. The CLM applications are no different in that regard. They too may be configured in optimal and not so optimal ways.

How customers use and configure a CLM application is called a Usage Model. This page intends to be a collection point for gathering various usage best practices.
