I Have CLM hosted on WebSphere Application Server(s)

I need to set up CLM and WebSphere to allow for monitoring

  1. Make the appropriate changes to WebSphere for CLM Server Monitoring
  2. Allow for communication with the WebSphere monitoring substructure

I am going to use something other than the CLM Server Monitoring Agent to monitor CLM

1. Understand how to access WebSphere MBean and JMX 1. Understand CLM Server Monitoring "plugin" MBeans, thresholds, rules, and activation

I need to create a CLM Server Monitoring Agent instance to monitor CLM

1. setup another WebSphere node, profile, or server instance to host CSM Agent 1. configure the host server for WebSphere 1. configure the host WebSphere for CSM Agent 1. configure the host WebSphere for the CLM servers CSM will need to access 1. install and configure CSM Agent 1. setup CSM Agent to connect to the CLM WebSphere 1. Understand CLM Server Monitoring "plugin" MBeans, thresholds, rules, and activation 1. Understand CLM Server Monitoring agent Dashboard, Work Items and WAIT

I need to set up CLM and Tomcat to allow for monitoring

I am going to use something other than the CLM Server Monitoring Agent to monitor the CLM on Tomcat

1. Understand how to access Tomcat MBean and JMX 1. Understand CLM Server Monitoring "plugin" MBeans, thresholds, rules, and activation

I need to create a CLM Server Monitoring Agent instance to monitor the CLM on Tomcat

  1. Install the CSM Agent with the option for a Tomcat
  2. start the Tomcat
  3. go through the setup wizard
  4. setup the CSM Agent to connect to the CLM tomcat
