Artifact: Scenario Scene

Overview

The Scenario Scene is a child of the Scenario Act, representing a single-role activity that would be implemented at a Feature or Story level. This artifact is part of the larger solution elaboration activity that occurs during analysis at the Portfolio or Large Solution level.

The kind of systems thinking involved in developing a Lifecycle Scenario with Acts and Scenes is a key aspect of the solution elaboration process prescribed by SAFe

While SAFe does not specifically define artifacts like the Scenario Scene,  it is included to help you formalize the usage models that are critical aspects to modeling any solution.

Artifact Template

The Scenario Scene has a corresponding artifact template that can be used when you create a new Scenario Scene artifact. The template reminds you about the things you should consider when articulating a snippet of a broader activity that is part of a scenario. The template looks like this:

[Scenario Scene Title]

<Title of the activity>

Example: Prepare for Release Planning

Narrative

<Provide the scene narrative as a series of steps performed by one or more roles.>
