1. Overview
Dashboards contain widgets that provide real-time information. You might want to add, remove, or
customize widgets.
The steps below add and configure useful widgets to the dashboard, grouped by the tab where they are to
be added.
When configuring report widgets, you need to set filters appropriately.

2. Portfolio Overview tab
|
Click the "+" icon to add a new tab to the dashboard, and name it "Portfolio Overview".

2.1 [SAFe] Strategic Themes - Portfolio Epics
|
Add the Requirements Management (/rm) > Requirements > Requirements
View widget.

Select Appearance, and set Title to "[SAFe] Strategic Themes - Portfolio Epics"

View, select “[SAFe] Strategic Themes - Portfolio Epics”.

2.2 [SAFe] Business Cases - Portfolio Epics
|
Add the Requirements Management (/rm) > Requirements > Requirements
View widget.

Select Appearance, and set Title to "[SAFe] Business Cases - Portfolio Epics"

View, select “[SAFe] Business Cases - Portfolio Epics”.

2.3 [SAFe] Value Streams - Portfolio Epics
|
Add the Requirements Management (/rm) > Requirements > Requirements
View widget.

Select Appearance, and set Title to "[SAFe] Value Streams - Portfolio Epics"

View, select “[SAFe] Value Streams - Portfolio Epics”.

2.4 My Projects
|
Add the Requirements Management (/rm) > Project/Team> My Requirements Projects
widget.

2.5 Project Members
|
Add the Requirements Management (/rm) > Requirements > Project Members
widget.
Choose your preferred display type under Appearance > Settings.

3. Portfolio Planning tab
|
Click the "+" icon to add a new tab to the dashboard, and name it "Portfolio Planning".

3.1 Allocated Capacity by Strategic Theme
|
Add the Report Builder (/rs) > SAFe Portfolio Reports > Allocated
Capacity by Strategic Theme widget.
|
3.2 Portfolio Roadmap
|
Add the Report Builder (/rs) > SAFe Portfolio Reports > Portfolio
Roadmap widget.
Modify the status filter to include values for approved and not-yet-complete work.

4. General tab
|
Remove the My requirements Projects and Project Members
widgets. This information now appears on the Portfolio Overview tab.
