New & Noteworthy for Rhapsody Model Manager 6.0.6.1

Description
Diagrams Automatic updating of diagrams

You can see diagrams in Rhapsody Model Manager only after Rational Rhapsody updates them on the server. Now, you can set the UpdateModifiedViewsPolicy property to update diagrams on the server automatically when model changes that affect diagrams are delivered, or when the model is closed.
Quick navigation shortcuts

In Rhapsody Model Manager, graphic elements in diagrams now include a quick navigation menu. If you customize the quick navigation shortcuts in Rational Rhapsody, the changes are reflected in Rhapsody Model Manager.
View model diagrams

You can now view model diagrams in Rhapsody Model Manager. To view the diagrams, you must first update the views on the server from within Rational Rhapsody. In version 6.0.6, this feature was provided as a technology preview. Now, this feature is available by default: no additional steps are required to enable it.
Note that for this feature to work, you must use RMM 6.0.6.1 in conjunction with Rhapsody 8.4 or higher. The feature will not work if you try using RMM 6.0.6.1 with Rhapsody 8.3.1, where diagram views were included only as a tech-preview.
OSLC links Disable the loading of remote artifacts for a Rhapsody Model Manager server

Previously, you could only disable the loading of remote artifacts and links for individual models in the Rational Rhapsody client. Now, you can disable the loading of remote artifacts and links (requirements, test cases, and work items) for project areas on a Rhapsody Model Manager server.
Link validity status

In Rhapsody Model Manager, icons now show the validity status of links between architectural elements and requirements (Derives From, Refines, Satisfies, and Trace). You can also change the validity status in Rhapsody Model Manager.
Reporting Support for traceability reports

Rhapsody Model Manager now includes a schema that you can use to generate Rational Publishing Engine reports on traceability between architecture elements and other lifecycle artifacts.
Dashboards and work items are no longer publicly available, so some links may be invalid. We now provide similar information through other means. Learn more here.
