Workaround: Breadcrumbs to folders are not shown in open artifacts, and the Requirements Management (RM) server responds slowly and consumes an excessive amount of memory

Summary

Breadcrumbs to folders are not shown in open artifacts, and the Requirements Management (RM) server responds slowly and consumes an excessive amount of memory.

More Information

If an artifact or folder has an improper relative URI for its parent folder, the RM server might leak memory, respond slowly to requests, and eventually become unresponsive. You might notice this problem when you open a large number of artifacts that have incorrect parent folders. For those artifacts, the links, or breadcrumbs, to the parent folders are not shown in the upper-left of the Artifacts page.

Workaround

As a workaround, restart the server. To correct this problem, contact IBM Software Support to obtain a patch for the server, and then apply the patch.
