Workaround: Auto-merge in the Rational Team Concert SCM CLI fails on some platforms

Summary

On some platforms, the Rational Team Concert source control management (SCM) command-line interface (CLI) cannot automatically merge non-conflicting changes to a plain text file because libraries are missing.

Problem

On some platforms, such as AIX, the org.eclipse.swt library is not available. Without that library, the function to automatically merge changes does not work.

Update for 3.0.1.5 or 4.0.1

This is no longer an issue with builds newer than 4.0.1 or 3.0.1.5. The fix is described in the work item 237113.

Workarounds

Either merge the changes manually, or use a platform that has the required libraries to automatically merge, or use 3.0.1.5 or 4.0.1 builds.
