Plan views that contain the tree or Kanban display option cannot be promoted for use by project areas and other plan types.

Problem
When you use the process configuration editor to promote a plan view that contains a tree or Kanban display option, the process configuration XML is corrupted.
Workaround
As a temporary solution to this problem, the function to promote plan views that contain the tree or Kanban display options is disabled. If you try to promote plan views that use those options, a message is displayed that states that the plan view cannot be promoted. A high-priority enhancement item has been created to address this restriction.
