Workarounds
The following problems in this release have workarounds:
- Rational Team Concert work item queries with link columns are slow in the Eclipse client
- Work items do not display correctly when the layout “slot” value is set to “none” in the editor presentation
Rational Team Concert work item queries with link columns are slow in the Eclipse client
Running a work item query in the Eclipse client with link columns displayed (for example, children, related, and mentions) takes significantly longer than the same query when no link columns are displayed. The workaround is to remove the link columns from the query.

Problem
Running a work item query in the Eclipse client with link columns displayed (for example, children, related, and mentions) takes significantly longer than the same query when no link columns are displayed. When you run a query, Rational Team Concert resolves the link references for each work item, individually, instead of resolving the references in a batch.
Workaround
Remove the link columns from the query or run the query in the web client.

Problem
Work items that have a layout “slot” value set to “none” in a section of the editor presentation do not display correctly in the web client.
Workaround
Change the layout for the work item section in the work item configuration.
- Go to the administration page to manage the affected project area.
- Click the Work Items tab, and then click Editor Presentations.
- Click the Edit Section icon of the affected section, and change the value in the Slot field to something other than “none.” For example, set the value to Discussion.
