Workarounds
The following problems in this release have workarounds:
- Workaround: Rank fields are editable with attribute-based sorting
- Workaround: Taskboard sticky note color is too dark on Internet Explorer 10
Limitations
The following problems in this release do not currently have workarounds:
Workaround summary
Plans created in Rational Team Concert 4.0.4 and earlier use attribute-based sorting when ranking. For these plans, the rank field is not editable. However, if one of these plans is opened in Rational Team Concert 4.0.6, the rank field can be edited, but the edited value is not saved.

Problem
When you click the rank field and then edit that field in a plan using attribute-based ranking, a message might display: “The number entered creates a gap in the plan ranking. Proceed with assigning the next available rank (0) to the plan item?” The rank for that item displays as “0.” The values entered do not affect the plan and cannot be saved.
Workaround
In order to edit the rank in a plan, you must migrate the plan to use explicit ranking. Or if you want to keep the attribute-based ranking, you can either refresh or save the plan, and the correct rank values are displayed.

Taskboard sticky note color is too dark on Internet Explorer 10. The workaround is to use a different supported browser.

Last updated: 12 February 2014
Problem
In the taskboard view mode of a plan, the body of the sticky notes is expected to be lighter than the header. When using Internet Explorer 10, this is not the case. The body of the sticky note is the same color as the header, making the text harder to read.
Workaround
Open the plan using one of the other supported browsers. Chrome and Firefox are alternatives for Windows users.Related information
Limitation summary
The custom deliverable column in a plan displays confusing content with Eclipse clients prior to version 4.0.6.

Problem
You can now add a deliverable type attribute as a plan column with the Rational Team Concert 4.0.6 web client. When a plan is opened in the Rational Team Concert 4.0.6 Eclipse client, the column displays as “n/a.” However, if the plan is opened with an Eclipse client prior to the 4.0.6 version, it displays the name of an internal Java class in the plan view.
