The following known problems are related to Jazz Team Server in the Collaborative Lifecycle Management (CLM) 4.0.4 release.
Limitations
The following problems in this release do not currently have workarounds:
- Searching for work items by using a query that starts with wildcard characters might take a long time or might not return results.
- On server start up, there may be an exception that occurs in the application logs –
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org.eclipse.equinox.service.weaving.IWeavingServiceFactory
Limitation summary
In Rational Team Concert, when you use a query that starts with a wildcard character to search for work items, the results might take a long time to return or the search might not return any results.
Problem
If you submit this type of query multiple times, all pending searches from other users are blocked, and the system appears to stop responding. Often, this type of query returns no results. These issues do not always occur and are influenced by the size of the database, the number of items involved in the search, and the wildcard character search string.

. This exception can be safely ignored.
