Creating new repository workspaces

You can create a new, empty, repository workspace and then load it with existing components from other workspaces or streams.

Procedure

  1. In the Team Artifacts view, expand My Source Control > All Repository Workspaces, and click New Repository Workspace.
  2. In the New Repository Workspace wizard, on the Select a Stream page, select Just back up my work. Don't flow changes to a stream yet. If you select Flow with a stream, the stream you specify becomes a flow target, and is loaded into the new workspace.
  3. Click Next.
  4. On the New Repository Workspace page, type a name and optional description for the new repository workspace and click Next.
  5. On the Read Access Permission page, select who can have read access to the repository workspace and click Finish.

Results

The new repository workspace is created, and is listed in the Team Artifacts view under My Source Control > All Repository Workspaces.
