add component

Adds components to a workspace or stream. Components that are already in the workspace are ignored. You can view the initial history of the added components from the specified workspace or specified baseline.

Usage: scm add component [-r/--repository-uri <arg>] [-u/--username <arg> -P/--password <arg> | -u/--username <arg> --password-file <arg> | --certificate <arg> -P/--password <arg> | --smartCard -u/--username <arg> | --kerberos | --integratedWindows] [-m/--multiple-hierarchy] [-s/--source-workspace <arg> | -b/--baseline <arg>] <workspace> [-i/--skip-inaccessible] <components...>

workspace The workspace or stream to which the components must be added. To specify the workspace or stream, use its name[@repo], alias, or UUID[@repo].
components The components to add to the workspace or stream. To specify a component, use its name[@repo], alias, or UUID[@repo].

Options:

-r, --repository-uri <arg> The URI that specifies the location of the repository.
-u, --username <arg> The user name for the repository.
-P, --password <arg> The password for the repository.
    --password-file <arg> File that contains the user's password.
    --certificate <arg> The file that contains the user's login certificate.
    --smartCard Use the connected smart card for authentication.
    --kerberos Authenticate with Windows user credentials using Kerberos/SPNeGO.
    --integratedWindows Authenticate with Windows user credentials using Integrated Windows Authentication.
-m, --multiple-hierarchy Continues with the add operation even if some components are present in more than one hierarchy.
-s, --source-workspace <arg> Provides the initial history from the specified workspace, stream or history reference. To specify the source use its name[@repo], alias, or UUID[@repo].
-b, --baseline <arg> Provides the initial history from the specified baseline.
-i, --skip-inaccessible Continues with the add operation even if subcomponents are inaccessible and not in the source repository workspace or stream.
