Updating work items and records

You can update work items and ClearQuest® records as work progresses to include information such as status, scheduling updates, and comments.

Updating a work item does not automatically update a linked record. Similarly, updating a record does not automatically update a linked work item. If you update a work item, you must manually update a linked ClearQuest record. See Updating and resolving records linked to work items.
