Finding artifacts from lifecycle management applications

To find indexed artifacts from across your lifecycle management applications, run a search. Use the Report Builder to consolidate data from various data sources across your tools and project areas.

Find artifacts with Report Builder

Starting in version 6.0, you can use Report Builder to query for data that comes from various data sources across your tools and project areas. You no longer need to edit queries in SPARQL query language. Create your reports easily, and publish them on a dashboard to share them with your team.

To find relevant artifacts for your project, follow these steps:
  1. In the main menu, click Queries > Open Report Builder (/rs).
  2. Create and run the report.
The artifacts that are gathered by using the Report Builder are displayed in a Jazz™ Reporting Service report.
Restriction: Depending on the applications that you use, and the type of information that you want to report on, you can choose to report on data that is collected in a data warehouse or that is indexed by Lifecycle Query Engine (LQE). For example, if you want to report on data with configurations, you must use LQE as the data source. Read about considerations for LQE as a data source in this Jazz.net article.
