Mapping ClearQuest record relationships to work item relationships

You can map ClearQuest record relationships to work item relationships. Examples of relationships are duplicate and parent-child.

About this task

Use the following targetID values to specify the work item relationship:
  • com.ibm.team.workitem.rcp.core.blocks
  • com.ibm.team.workitem.rcp.core.dependson
  • com.ibm.team.workitem.rcp.core.duplicates
  • com.ibm.team.workitem.rcp.core.is_dup_of
  • com.ibm.team.workitem.rcp.core.parent
  • com.ibm.team.workitem.rcp.core.children
  • com.ibm.team.workitem.rcp.core.related

Procedure

  1. Open the mapping file in an XML editor.
  2. For each relationship that you want to map, use the sourceID parameter to specify the name of the ClearQuest record reference field. Use the targetID parameter to specify the corresponding work item type relationship. For example:
    <attribute sourceId="Duplicate_Of" targetId="com.ibm.team.workitem.rcp.core.is_dup_of" />
        <attribute sourceId="Duplicated_By" targetId="com.ibm.team.workitem.rcp.core.duplicates" />

What to do next

Continue customizing the mapping file as necessary. See Customizing the mapping file.
