Using ISPF Statistics in Ant-based z/OS builds

ISPF statistics incomplete in Ant-based z/OS® builds

Ant-based z/OS builds store a timestamp in ISPF statistics for files that are generated in the build process unless RECFM=U (unspecified) for the data set. Other information that can be stored in ISPF statistics, such as the number of lines, are not updated.

For program objects, timestamps can be stored in the directory's System Status Index (SSI). To store timestamps in SSI, specify the SSI(@{ssi_info} option in your link-edit translator. The string @{ssi_info} is converted into a hexadecimal string that represents a timestamp in Rational Team Concert™ Ant build extensions during the build.
