Overview of cross-project links in projects that are enabled for configurations

In projects that are enabled for configurations, understanding link ownership and direction helps you understand when you can link between versioned artifacts across project areas in different CLM applications.

When you set your current configuration context to a global configuration, you can link to artifacts in other CLM project areas that are part of that global configuration. For more information about link ownership and direction, see Cross-project links to versioned artifacts after enabling configuration management.

If you are an application or project administrator, see Links across project areas after enabling configuration management for more details and examples.

For details about supported OSLC link relationships and how they appear in Rational® solution for Collaborative Lifecycle Management (CLM) applications after you enable configuration management, see Table 1 in Enabling your application to integrate with configuration-management-enabled CLM applications on Jazz.net.
