Repository tools command to import the Requirements Management application link validity data during migration

Use the rmImportLinkValidity command to import link validity from a .csv file.


The rmImportLinkValidity command loads the .csv file from the location specified in the command line and updates the Jazz™ Team Server tables. This step is only required if you are using Report Builder or Lifecycle Query Engine to report on link validity status.

To run this command, the Requirements Management server must be shut down but Jazz Team Server must be running.


Attribute Description Required Default
fromFile Path to the Jazz Team Server input link validity comma delimited file. If a relative path is provided, it is relative to server directory. No server/rmLinkValidityFromFile.csv
repositoryURL The connection URL for the server. No https://localhost:9443/jts
adminUserId Administrative user ID to login to the Jazz repository. No ADMIN
adminPassword Administrative user password to login to the Jazz repository. No ADMIN
credentialsFile The file containing the administrative user login credentials. No
logFile Path to the log file. No repotools-rm_rmImportLinkValidity.log


For Windows operating system Open a command prompt and enter this command:

cd C:\Program Files\IBM\JazzTeamServer\server\
repotools-rm.bat -rmImportLinkValidity fromFile=Path_to_rmLinkValidityFromFile.csv adminUserId=ADMIN adminPassword=ADMIN repositoryURL=

For Unix operating systems Open a command line and enter this command:

cd opt/IBM/JazzTeamServer/server/
./ -rmImportLinkValidity fromFile=Path_to_rmLinkValidityFromFile.csv adminUserId=ADMIN adminPassword=ADMIN repositoryURL=
