Proxy setting when using RTC Shell client (Windows Explorer integration)

Yohko Tanaka (10523139) | asked Jan 08 '13, 4:09 a.m.
Hi,
In the case I use RTC Shell client, which settings of proxy server is in effect?
(Such as Internet Explorer setting, OS registry setting)

One of my customer is trying to connect to RTC server by using RTC Shell, but he is getting the error "HTTP/1.0 407 Proxy Authentication Required".
He cleared the proxy setting of Internet Explorer and retried, but it didn't work.
He can connect to RTC server successfully by using IE and Eclipse client.

So I'm wondering which setting is refered by RTC Shell client.

Thank you in advance.

RTC Shell uses Internet Explorer proxy settings. You might have to log out and log back in for the change in proxy settings to take effect in RTC Shell.
