Removing an Attribute Data Type in RRC v4.0

I created a new collection, then created a new attribute, then created a new attribute data type. I was then told that was no longer a requirement, so I went to delete this attribute data type and got:

You cannot delete this attribute data type because it is assigned to an existing artifact attribute.

I deleted everything that I could and I still see this message. What is the order of deletion needed to remove this? Right now, everything is gone except this data type that is being used, by an artifact attribute that is not listed under Artifact Attributes.

In V4.0.1, the deletion Order should be Artifacts, Collection, Attribute reference in the Artifact Type, then Attribute, then Data Type.

If you followed this order (which it sounds you did) and it is still not working, best raise a defect.
