I have a document centric customer who wishes to model the old tagging approach in ReqPro with their existing MS documentation.  A key part of their document is represented as tables.

I have uploaded and converted a word document.  I would like to make each row a requirement.  I tried to use the extract capability but it makes the entire table the artifact.  Even better would be the ability to import the table and have RRC iterate over each row making it an artifact.

Thoughts?

Parsing tables in this manner is a known limitation in the Jazz RM V4.0/4.0.1 importer.

One option would be to turn those tables into entries in a CSV file and import them.  Tables often include attributes as well, and in any case CSV import is they way to bring in text and attributes.

This of course assumes "normalized" tables, meaning no merged cells that express hierarchy.
