Child project area not showing reference data for custom attributes

samia khilji (1323) | asked Nov 29 '12, 8:41 a.m.
Hi,

I have set up a parent and child scrum project area's. I have created a custom enumeration attribute. Every time i update the list, the value take a 2-3 hours to show up in the child project area.

There a lag in the update of the enumeration attribute. I cannot figure out why that is..
Any help appreciated.

Regards,

Hi Samia

we had the same some month ago. this is a cache issue

open your project "Manage this project Area"
change the description or whatever
save

Now it should work

shown thru which UI? Web or Eclipse?

many times you must stop and restart eclipse as it caches, and sometimes you have to restart the server as it caches too.

It is showing fine in the Eclipse client.

But it is not updated in the Web UI. I have cleared the cache and the new value is still not showing up. I am using a Value set attribute customization for this enumeration.
