Format of workitem attribute type field is different when exported in 4.0.0.1
Hi,
We were in 3.0.1.3 earlier. When we exported the query result and brought the output of the attribute field of type "Workitem" the output used to be like this
Type Id CustomerID
Defect 1997 45: test 2
In 4.0.0.1, the export result is as below
Type Id CustomerID
Defect 1997 #45
Can someone let us know if this is an intentional change ? if so, the reason behind this change ? Is there any workitem in jazz.net related to this change ?

Yes, the csv export behaviour has changed between 3.0.1.3 and 4.0.0.1 for attributes of type work item. This change was necessary to make the import work correctly with work item references. The work item under which this has changed is https://jazz.net/jazz/resource/itemName/com.ibm.team.workitem.WorkItem/190121
However, the functionality for the format for the html export has not changed and will still output the work item reference in the old format. I would advice to use the html format if readability is a big concern.
