How to avoid that two users edit the same file?

Is there any way in the Jazz SCM to let users know that some is already
working on a file to avoid conflicts (e.g. for hard to merge files such as
XMI files that contain a lot of machine generate object ids)? A
ClearCase-like reserved-check out that locks a file would be ideal, but also
something like the Watch/Edit feature from CVS would work. Is there a way
of doing this in Team Concert Beta1?

Thanks and best regards,
Peter Haumer.

Not yet, unfortunately. I couldn't find a feature request for this, but
it is something that we have talked about doing.
