setting up RRDI 2.0
Hi,
we have installed RRDI 2.0 for the first time to use it with CLM 4.0.0.1. When we wanted to run the
https://localhost:10443/rrdi/setup
we didn't get possibility to create admin user, we only get the logon screen which looks like that the user admin has been already created and we can just log in and put information about login details.
Can anyone please help.

Hi Mike,
reports work correctly when I log in in Cognos web portal page.
I also read this article, and I have done what is asked to do:
and this is my post regarding this problem:
I setup all necessary steps from this link:
I also succeeded in displaying report at Cognos RRDI portal as you asked me.

hi Milan
I would guess that your RTC is not able to communicate with the Report Server correctly. Did you set that up following the procedure in http://pic.dhe.ibm.com/infocenter/clmhelp/v4r0/index.jsp?topic=%2Fcom.ibm.rational.rrdi.admin.doc%2Ftopics%2Ft_configure_custom_reporting_clm_setup.html
There is also relevant material in http://pic.dhe.ibm.com/infocenter/clmhelp/v4r0/index.jsp?topic=%2Fcom.ibm.rational.rrdi.usage.doc%2Ftopics%2Ft_rrdi_runview_report.html
One other question, I assume your reports work correctly when you run them directly from the Cognos web portal page?

Hi Michael,
you were right. I didn't run server.config after installation. Now, everything works well.
One more thing regarding accessing through jazz part to RRDI:
I created some report on RRDI, and when I wanted to deploy it to RTC Project Area, I went to report resources to create custom report from resource.
When I clicked that, I got following message:
Cannot reach the IBM Rational Reporting Server. Please check network connectivity and verify the server location is correct and the server is running.
What this is about? Maybe I put wrong path in some settings or?
Thanks,

hi Milan,
Did you run the server.config script before starting Setup? After you start the Setup Server, you need to run that script before you go to the /rrdi/setup web page. That script is where you enter the full DNS name of your Setup Server (you really should not use localhost) and the user credentials you want to use.
There is documentation on this process at: http://pic.dhe.ibm.com/infocenter/clmhelp/v4r0/topic/com.ibm.rational.rrdi.admin.doc/topics/t_postinstall_config_setup_app.html
