A custom field used to get current date/time when state change

 Hi all:
I want cuntomize to field to record the state change time, I know there is a "create time" field has that ability, but I have used it, now I want another field to do the same thing, for example, when I pick a action and chick save, this field can get the time the action happen

Hi Haizi,
I'm not sure how to create a timestamp field for whenever the state of the work item changes.  However, the preconfigured History tab in work items will show you a detailed list of when the work item was changed and what was changed.

That's true, except you do not see when you add links or remove links. This is a big limitation in RTC history.

Good point.  I was going to point you to Provide history of work item links changes (60178), but it looks you've already seen the work item.
