Reports in RQM 3.0.1

Rajat Singh (59833545) | asked Oct 08 '12, 2:11 a.m.

Do we have any out of the box report readily available in RQM 3.0.1; where we can extract the following data:

1) No of test cases executed, pass, fail, test cases mapped to Defects, How many number of times a test case has executed
2) Defect reports by age, by status(New/Open, Fixed, Closed, Reopend, etc.), by priority, by category

Best Regards
Rajat

Hi Rajat,

I suggest you have a look at this link :
https://jazz.net/wiki/bin/view/Main/CALMReportingOOTBReports#RQM
It gives you the list of the RQM OOTB reports

For customized reporting, you'd need to create your own reports with RRDI (or Insight).
Here is an excellent starting point for figuring out how to do that :
"CLM 2011 reporting workshop" : https://jazz.net/library/article/675

If you need to better distinguish the various aspects of reporting around CLM (RRDG/RPE, BIRT/RRDI/Insight), I suggest the following link : http://sleroyblog.wordpress.com/2011/09/21/reporting
(self advertisement here..)

Hello Rajat,

Don't know whether you have found the answer for this.

However, regarding a defect report, you can create a query in RTC and edit its "Result Layout" to add or delete the columns as per your need. Moreover, this report generated in RTC is real time. Therefore, you do not need to wait until your dataware house jobs run successfully to generate a defect report from RQM.

Thanks.

Hi Rajat, do you want to customize the report in RRDI (cognos) report or Birt report? Birt uses ODA dataset to expose the data store, and RRDI (cognos) exposes data via ODS data stores.
