How to resolve database lock issue?

Jojie Valiente (3021417) | asked Oct 03 '12, 1:29 a.m.

Hi,

I'm still getting this errror even after running 'repotools-ccm.sh resetRepoLockId' and 'repotools-ccm.sh resetRepoLockId' and removing the entry of this com.ibm.team.repository.db.repoLockId from teamserver.properties of ccm and jts.

The configuration test resulted in errors. Resolve the errors to continue. For more details, open the help system and search for CRJAZ1579E.ID CRJAZ1579Ehide details
The configured database lock id does not match the lock id in the database. This can happen if 2 applications or Jazz Team Servers are trying to access the same set of tables, or if the lock id was overwritten or lost in the teamserver.properties configuration file. Check the server configuration and the database connection spec and ensure they are correct. To recover from an emergency lockout, the lock can be reset using the 'repotools -resetRepoLockId' command. Check the log file for information on the affected database.

Any resolution for this issue?

Hi

From the message it seems that you are pointing two applications to one database.
Could you check the teamserver.properties of all the applications and make sure they are pointing to their relevant database?

Best Regards
Rajat

Hi, the 2 apps are using the same db but each has its own tablespace.
