If you have a situation where the CLM cluster is working properly when no catalogue service domain is defined, yet once a catalogue service domain is created it stop functioning?

Symptoms can be:
  • CLM nodes do not "see" each other in the Cluster status page.
  • Cluster nodes act independently like they are not connected
  • Cluster nodes start up very slowly or do not start at all.

You need to make sure hat you have the latest WebSphere eXtreme Scale fix pack installed:
interim fix: 7.1.1.1-WS-WXS-IFPM69146

In addition to the other two:
WebSphere eXreme Scale Version 7.1.1 Fix Pack 1
interim fix: 7.1.1.1-WS-WXS-IFPM59004
