There is no report that shows this today, but perhaps Dirk or someone
else from the APT team could comment on whether this is possible from
some other editor or view, or if they are planning this functionality
for the future.

No, this is currently not possible. You can see the scheduled absences
per team for an iteration so. Open the iteration plan and switch to the
Planned Tiem group mode. That shows you the absences on a time line with
the work items (like the my work view).
