'Filed Against' shows only a subset of Team Areas
The "Restrict Category Visibility" under work-item Categories tab gets automatically checked everyday and this leads to a problem, where project members are unable to fetch the work item category for which they are not part of. To resolve this the project administrator has to manually uncheck this "Restrict Category Visibility" option on daily basis.
Any idea if this is a process configuration issue or an defect with the product ?? Please share your thoughts.! Please refer to the below screenshot

This sounds odd, the checked categories should be visible to all project members, the unchecked to the members of the team. The check boxes are not supposed to un-check entries on their own. As far as I know the information is stored in the process XML. I can't find a defect on first search either.
What version are you using? Is there someone saving the process specification that should not? |
