Jazzmon, analyze putting every day into the same spreadsheet, gonna fill up, how to resolve?

I am looking at our jazzmon output, and see for each server the services_ecnt/eavg/etot spreadsheets have every day 15minute cycles included..

8/13 from 11:30am to 8/16 at 11:15.

1. its too much data to graph
2. its near impossible to work with

is there a config option on analyze not to produce it this way?

JAZZ DEVELOPER

ANALYSIS_SAMPLE_TIME=60

is the config property that can be set (in minutes) to analyze data e.g. at hourly rate. This is commented out by default under the section Data Analysis Control Properties.

sorry, don't understand the answer.

we want 15 minute cycles.(per agreement with IBM)

we want to run the sample window for a day, across all three servers

the report for each should be ONLY that day

----

right now the created spreadsheet for the services_eCnt.txt (for example)
and others
has 288 columns, 96 for each of 8/14, 8/15, and 8/16 daily samples.

I am trying to compare days, but the data is too big.

I went back the 8/15 file, and it has 8/14 and 8/15 (two sets of 96 columns) data in it
over a year this will get too big for Excel to open.

ok, I think I figured this out.. waiting for my collection team to confirm..

the data directory for gather/analyze is not cleaned between gather commands, so all prior gather data is included when analyze is run..

I guess if you wanted to see a week of daily collected samples this might make sense..

just makes my spreadsheet macro more complex
(trying to display changes in behavior based on implemented changes)
