Environment:windows server 2008 64bit rc2 + Oracle 10g(10.2.0.2.20) + jts 4.0 release ( ccm+rm+qm and default tomcat )

I just reinstalled the Application Server and kept the Database the same. I got this error after
I entered the Finalization of the RM Application:

CRRRS3006E The user ID you are currently using is not authorized to finalize this application. Other possibility is that you are not authorized to configure an already existing RM storage areas on the Jazz Team Server.

I try to fix it with this reference but did not work:

Any help would be appreciated!

Did you give that user a valid RM Author license? I encountered this issue with a user with non-RM license?

Please see https://jazz.net/library/article/795 for what to look for if doing backup/restore.

You can not run another setup if you have already registered, you would do a backup and restore and move the needed files over, including the essential server/conf, tomcat user and other files. You could run a partial setup for LDAP with tomcat but you can not register again. The files brought over such as the ones Bas mentions makes it also unnecessary.

Also you can look at the CLM 4.0 Interactive Guide for upgrade instructions https://jazz.net/help-dev/clm/topic/com.ibm.jazz.install.doc/topics/roadmap_clm_upgrade.html The step which has the 'verifcation checklist' will tell you which files to bring over from you existing install to get your new install working

thank you, Ralph and Bas. I appreciate your comments. Finally, I rebuilt the database and jts. Fortunately this is a practice server. I'll try again.:)

Hi Sean, I assume you want to continue with the RM data in your database? In that case, did you copy the /conf/rm/friendsconfig.rdf and fronting.properties files from your original setup to your reinstalled setup before running /jts/setup?
